This<\/span>\u00a0<\/b>week, we got the chance to visit a Condo in the <\/span>New Tampa Area<\/span>.\u00a0 New Tampa<\/span>, annexed from Tampa in 1988, is a 24 square mile subdivision of Tampa.\u00a0 New Tampa is right on the border of Hillsborough and Pasco County.\u00a0 The Soler family moved to the area three and a half years ago.\u00a0 Originally from New York, the couple moved to Florida in 1993 and have owned (and still do) various homes all over the State.<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0<\/b>Soler’s first started their Home Renovation with the Kid’s Bathroom, late last August.\u00a0 After the bathroom project came the Kitchen.\u00a0 The couple wanted to redo the whole feel of their kitchen. That meant new cabinets and new floors. They chose White Shaker Cabinets and CaliBamboo Flooring.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The cabinets had been here since 1992, they desperately needed a facelift.” Mr. Soler said<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Choosing Countertop Material<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Next came the Countertops.\u00a0 The Soler’s found International Granite and Stone<\/span> on the Internet and scheduled an In-Home Consultation with our Designer Pedro M. to get to work picking out their tops.\u00a0 The Soler’s knew they wanted something light and bright, but with a little bit of dimension too.\u00a0 With Pedro’s expert advice, the customer came to the decision to use two types of materials, Granite<\/span><\/span> and Quartz.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Kitchen Countertops<\/strong> – Perimeter: Calacatta Imperiale Quantum Quartz<\/span><\/p>\n

After two trips to the showroom, the decision was finalized and colors were chosen.\u00a0 For the countertop spaces, the couple chose to do Calacatta Imperiale Quantum Quartz<\/span>, with a Half Bullnose Edge.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kitchen Countertops – Island:<\/strong> Grand Delicatus.<\/span><\/p>\n

They wanted something different for the Island, so they went with a Granite Countertop<\/span> color called Grand Delicatus.\u00a0 The white in the Granite went well with the Quartz, giving the room a pop of contrast along with it.<\/span><\/p>\n
